Please consider supporting Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme Generation 1 with your NoteBook FanControl software application. This notebook has dual fans - it is helpful to run both fans FULL at times to push out the lint and when running the computer full like bitcoin mining, video encoding, gaming in 4K, etcetera.

https://github.com/byrnes/TPFanControl this person might be of help to your software for supporting the X1 Extreme with dual fans.

It would be nice if your application would include a manual option to turn on both fans FULL regardless of the temperature. Maybe an override or something... If this could be integrated into a keyboard function key (hot key) or bat files as it adds more value here. The F12 would be nice for the X1 extreme to manually turn on both fans FULL and OFF for instance.
