I have an HP omen laptop, model number 17-w053dx
I have no clue what preset to use, HP Pavilion 17-ab240nd works somewhat, I was able to increase the fan speed with it but I still don't think it's right or running at full speed.

I'm currently trying to make my own setting, but it's rather hard to understand.

https://github.com/hirschmann/nbfc/wiki/Probe-the-EC%27s-registers

It says "Next, write a value to the register which you've identified before as write register and see if the fan shows a reaction, e.g. ec-probe write 0x2F 50"

I don't know what it's asking me to do.

The Pavilion 17-ab240nd config works but I don't think setting it to 100% really makes the fan run at 100%

Ok I was able to edit the profile to be able to increase the fan speed, but I'm not sure what the max speed should be for my laptop.
