Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce

  1. Install arch linux.
  2. Install nbfc.
  3. sudo systemctl enable nbfc && sudo systemctl start nbfc.
  4. nbfc config -a "Acer Aspire E5-575G"
File Descriptor does not support writing
  5. nbfc start -e.
  6. Nothing happens still uses 87.50% fan speed instead of 100%, and at 87.50 it might as well not spin at all.

Expected behavior
I would hear my fan speed reach jet speed, and my laptop reach 3 Mach speed like on windows 10.

System information

Additional context
It have worked before on both platforms, well it is not much of an issue if I disable folding@home cpu but I don't get gpu WU yet, but when I do the gpu is gonna be on fire because the cpu is going to cripple the heat transfer.
