Hi,
i have been trying for days to figure out this laptop.
But no cigar.
Current read only fan speed it as 0x06, and thats as far as i got.
Y580 config does not work...

AcpiTbls.zip

Here are the acpi tables for it, hope they can help.

Been looking at ec-dump for days, perhaps too much :)

Found out the EC - its ENE KB930
I think this is the datasheet:
KB3930.pdf

But after a few days of reading still no luck on figuring out the addresses.
0x06 is fan speed - but only for read
0xAB bit 3 enables some-kind of auto mode

This is as far as i got...

Any help would be great :)
