I'm trying to install NBFC on an old HP Pavilion laptop. I'm running Windows 10 LTSC on it, version 10.0.17763 Build 17763, and I've had NBFC installed and working previously on this machine, I recently brought it back to life with a good clean, repaste, and ye olde battery cell swap. However, its stock idle fanspeed is too low, and the keyboard area gets slightly warm when idle. I like using this program to change that.
At some point I uninstalled NBFC and I'm now trying to reinstall it, but the installation always fails at the end when it's supposed to start NbfcService. I can run the application after it's installed, but the config list is empty and nothing happens.
So far I've tried disabling Virtualization and Core Isolation, since I found an issue solved by that, I tried #679 to remove NoteBook FanControl's folder from my Programs folder, with no success.
I can't seem to figure out what the issue is, I hope it can be solved. I also attached my installation log, in case it helps.
