Hi!
I adore your program. It has helped me to dramatically improve my notebook noise experience. I changed a bit one of the preinstalled profiles (only temperatute thresholds) and everything worked just very fine (and after normal sleep too) until I made a hibernation... After turning laptop on it seems the fan configuration became default. :(
I tried to (with multiple restarts):

  • choose another profile and then my profile again.
  • turn off hibernation mode (it's redundant, I know).
  • check active power management plan (no noticeable changes there).
  • adjust service restart settings after failure as have been offered here.
  • stop the NBFC service manually and run it without and with OS restart. Service is running OK all the time. There's no errors associated with NBFC in the Windows events viewer.
  • save profile with minor changes and reapply it.
  • delete the HKLM\Hardware\ACPI\DSDT registry table.

I use the 1.4.2 version. Please help if you can.

UPD: I've reinstalled the app and here we go :-D The CPU temp is minus 2 bln degrees (http://i.imgur.com/Mw8Ur45.png)
UPD2: after OS restart the temperature value is OK but fan doesn't turn off when CPU reaches threshold temperature (http://i.imgur.com/hM8tPaq.png). :(
UPD3: ОК, I've took out a battery for 5 minutes, then turned laptop on without power supply plugged (from a battery) and fan profile is back!
