I have an HP Zbook G2 and run Windows 10.

I am having a hard time with setting the fan speed, the cursor will automatically shoot back to 100% no matter how much I try. Once in a while it will "stick" and when it does it works well for a couple of hours at most then the fan speed will go all the way too 100% again.

A temporary measure I've found was to switch to "read-only" for a little bit, or to switch to a different configuration but nothing proves consistent. if there's an incompatibility I don't know what it could tem from. Any advice?
