Hi
I wanted to manually control my fan speed so I installed this...
I checked the recommended configs and selected one, I set the speed and it didn't work, it only set the target fan speed, but the actual speed never changed.

I've got a HP probook 470 g2, and I tried these configs:
HP ProBook 4720s
HP ProBook 4710s
and
HP ProBook 4520s

This is what happened with the last one:

eli@probook ~ % sudo nbfc set -s 100
eli@probook ~ % sudo nbfc status -f
Fan display name : Fan #1
Auto control enabled : False
Critical mode enabled : False
Current fan speed : 182.50
Target fan speed : 100.00
Fan speed steps : 40

so yeah, the speed is > 100, but the fan isn't spinning at all...

Update after ~one minute:
I'm using HP EliteBook Folio 9470m template now, and it seems to be working...
