Impacted versions

  • Modoboa: Latest
  • installer used: Yes ?
  • Webserver: Nginx

Steps to reproduce

On The Admin page, Modoboa -> Parameters -> Webmail, changed 'Secured connection mode' to "None" from "SSL/TLS"

Current behavior

All sites display with Sorry. An internal error occured.

SysLog: May 23 15:51:17 email postfix/cleanup[15187]: warning: connect to Milter service inet:127.0.0.1:12345: Connection refused
May 23 15:51:17 email postfix/cleanup[15187]: ECC902C0061: message-id=<20190523155117.ECC902C0061@mail._<domain>_.com>
May 23 15:51:17 email postfix/cleanup[15187]: warning: proxy:pgsql:/etc/postfix/sql-aliases.cf lookup error for "root@mail._<domain>_.com"
May 23 15:51:17 email postfix/cleanup[15187]: warning: ECC902C0061: virtual_alias_maps map lookup problem for root@mail._<domain>_.com -- message not accepted, try again later

Expected behavior

Ability to open up admin page and correct settings if needed. I couldn't send mail through Webmail, so I was experimenting with different settings to get whatever it was corrected.

@DaveDischord commented on GitHub (May 24, 2019):

Figured out my dovecot ldap set-up was wrong. No issue. Although to note, when trying to trouble shoot, there are a lot of instances where a small change can lead to this Internal Error, and I'm unable to change settings in the web interface. Where can I go to make those some GUI parameters internally, like via CLI?
