Hello and thanks for this awesome work.
I was just wondering if it ist possible to use the zones from MS4H with Lox Audioserver. Shouldn`t it not be possible to see the zones/players from MS4H as Squeezelite Players?
Iam using v4.0.0-beta.5

Or is there an other Workaround for this.

Thanks in advance.

Yes it is possible, but you have to stop the LMS service on the MS4H. The squeezelite players connect only to one server at a time.

OK, but doesent work for me. Or im doing something wrong.

Some more information about my setup.

Loxberry on RPI4 with lox-audioserver v.4.0.0 beta 5. nothing else installed.
two audioplayer zones Esszimmer and Flur on lox-audioserver.

MS4H with Internal Zone Esszimmer and Flur.

Now i try to find these zones as squeezelite player in the output settings of each zone in the lox-audioserver interface. LMS on MS4H stopped.

With LMS stopped everithing turned red, just MusicServerGateway, Squeeze Connect Power Manager ist still green.

is this correct? or do i have to install lox-audioserver on MS4H Hardware?

Thank you very much!

just out of curiosity: Why is MS4H needed / useful in addition to lox-audioserver @mr-manuel & @p4co86 ?

Hi, thats the question.
I use an Odroid n2+ with 2x KAB9 soundcard an amplifier. I only have internal zones. But i try to use the new audioserver with my existing Setup.

i have no external zones like sonos or something else.

MS4H is not needed. The usecase is if you want to try out Lox Audioserver before completely migrating.
