Apologies if this has been elaborated on elsewhere, but could a new release incorporating the fixes enumerated in https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot/issues/1527 be released? As currently applications with a dependency on librespot v0.6.0 are broken.

I was just about to ask this as well. Actually I was wondering if there was any release schedule at all, since the previous release was last year and there have been tons of commit since.

Does the librespot from developer branch spews random ASCII garble for anyone else? It occurs on stdout within FreeBSD when I attempt to play a track

Any other version throws: "Track should be available, but no alternatives found."

Any moment now. We are doing some final checks and will push it out any day now, barring showstoppers.

We are also thinking how we can automate and rework the release workflow. So hopefully we’ll cut a release more often.

Please open a dedicated issue. This is going to be a tougher one to nail down. If you could, please find the commit with which this happened (like doing a binary search: test a commit halfway between v0.6 and now, then from there go halfway up or down again until you find it).

My bad @roderickvd -- I had forgotten to include an audio backend on compilation which explains the output to console.
Working great here on FreeBSD 15 with spotify-qt & many thanks for your efforts.
