LibrePods consistently crashes on my vivo X200 when it reaches the “Root access required” page. The app closes immediately instead of showing an error or permission prompt.

This happens every time I open the app, making it unusable.

Same here with a S24. Just installed the apk on my phone. Granted all the permissions. The app closes by itself when i try to open it. Totally unusable

Got it working by using the build artifacts https://github.com/kavishdevar/librepods/actions/runs/20314434870
But connection is not stable and crashes or doesn't apply the noise cancelling mode, don't know how to generate debug since I don't have root (colour os) but it tells me L2cap error: couldn't connect to socket : timeout. I'm using air pods pro 3

it seems like there is a bug in the Bluetooth android stack and they're still fixing that issue. There is no response in the android issue tracker side too. so you need to root the device with Xposed (mentioned in the readme file)

I just tried and you're right, it works but incredibly unreliably and some of the features don't work even when it is active. I really wanted multipoint but it doesn't seem to be functioning on this version. I dropped down a release. Hopefully it gets corrected soon.
