Seemingly perfect installation of koel on Windows 10 using Laragon, however koel's web interface pops an "unknown error" bubble whenever it tries to scan for music. any help?

if i knew exactly what information to give about the issue i probably wouldnt be stuck, this is the 100th error in my journey to building koel on a windows machine but most of my issues were pretty easy to get around by altering a name, creating a directory, changing a few lines of code etc... but this error has no extra information that i know how to find. when i click scan i get taken to a page that says "just a little patience" and then a red bubble that appears in the top right corner that says "unknown error" for about 3 seconds, then its gone and im back at the page that says scan music.

if im missing an easier way to install this please tell me too. i only have one reliable pc, but also an old 2010's era school workstation it might run on, i just want to be sure if i take the time to set up an os, its going to be the most compatable one for koel
