Koel is a great project and is very adept at playing audio files but I would like to see video playback implemented if possible. This request is more for a coworker of mine that is wanting to modify his vehicle with a raspberry pi and hotspot connection for streaming.

I will be forking the current head tonight and conduct initial review to see if this is doable. Updates will be provided in this issue.

I think that before we can tackle video playback, we first need to to tackle playing/convertAndPlay FLAC audio files.

If playing audio from a particular format is an issue, it will most likely be a far greater issue when it comes to video playback.

Of course we could just start by supporting webm and mp4, but who has a collection in those formats?

Video playback is not on top of my list. In fact, it's very far down below, if it's there at all TBH. This issue is kept open just because @matthewjamesr said he'd be forking and providing updates, and might be closed if there's no activity.
