After you install all of the resources you want, you can launch them from your shell. For example, if i want to run xauth all I need to do is type xauth.

me@localhost:/mnt/c/Users/me$ xauth

Thats what it would look like on a windows machine running linux subsystem. You should note that not all dependencies are installed with this. So you might need to go an extra step and install some, like java.
