Describe the feature you'd like

When clicking on the karakeep button you get the option to take screenshot and store/process/ocr, AI process, in the background

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

In meetings, I take screenshots when things are presented, usually screenshots from diagrams or information heavy slides. It would be great if I can send this to karakeep for processing / tagging / summarizing.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

manual? If I take a karakeep in a meeting now it just stores the link

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

So if it is a video on screen or when specifically requested, take screenshot and process via AI to summarize screenshot and tag and process in karakeep

@Wieringerwerf It's not clear to me what the flow you have in mind would look like. Do you take those screenshots from the browser? So the FR is to have an option to take screenshots when clicking on the extension icon instead of storing it as a link?

Yes! Store the screenshot and have the AI integration give a summary and
tags, having a link to google meet does not help me. When I am in meetings
I love to take screenshots when information heavy slide are presented.
Having a “send and forget, use later” place really helps to hoard
information.

I think changing the extension icon to do screenshots instead of links wouldn't be the default behavior people expect. Instead, I think we can add an item to the context menu (i.e. when you right click) that says, "Screenshot and send to Karakeep". Would that work for you?
