Describe the Bug

Thanks for making such a great application. I am trying to use Hoarder like a self-hosted Pinterest, and discovered the Add to Hoarder browser extension context menu in Firefox. This saves the image to Hoarder as an image (not as a link). Consequently, while it saves a link to the image file, the larger context such as the parent page where the image is located is lost. This is different behaviour from the "save to pinterest" bookmarklet button which the feature attempts to replicate as noted here. That Pinterest button saves the image file as the banner image with a link to the parent website (not a link to the image itself) thereby preserving the association between the image being saved and the website where it comes from. I think this should be the behaviour for Hoarder as well.

While it is true that one can work around this issue by saving a link to the website by using the extension icon in the toolbar or saving a link to the parent website in the Hoarder app and then changing the banner image, this requires several steps and is quite cumbersome.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install FF browser extension
  2. Go to any website and right click an image to Add to Hoarder
  3. See that image is added to Hoarder as an image (not as a website link) thus not preserving the association between the image and the parent website

Expected Behaviour

It would make sense to Hoard the link using the image as the banner image thus preserving a link to the parent website

Screenshots or Additional Context

Device Details

Firefox 130.0.1 Linux

Exact Hoarder Version

Hoarder v0.23.0
