Describe the feature you'd like

I would really like not to open my hoarder self hosted server to the internet.

That means I'm ok to sync the app with the server only when I'm connected to my local network.

When I leave home, I would like to still be able to add links and stuff to the Hoarder app. The current behavior doesn't allow that - the app must be connected to the server in order to be able to save new stuff.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

  • offline usage
  • ability to keep your server "offline"
  • app would still work if the server crashed or if power goes down, etc
  • save notes in the app when app is not connected to internet

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

I'm not aware of that

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

No response

@devtud I merged this issue into #274 as it's a duplicate. Github is acting weird because it was supposed to show the issue that this one was merged into but seems like it didn't. Sorry about the confusion.
