Describe the Bug

I noticed a lot of issues with dark mode:

Title bar/status bar randomly turning white on various screen.
Status bar icons turning dark and not visible.
If I click on '+' -> 'Photo Gallery' and back out, the app turns back to light theme on it's own and the setting stops working.
The cards on the main page aren't don't look like cards (background colour issue).

To name a few. It's very easy to see and trigger.

Steps to Reproduce

Go to settings
Click on theme
Change to dark mode

Expected Behaviour

The app should fully support dark mode

Same issue here on Android 16 on an Pixel 8 Pro.
I have set it to theme system (which switches to dark in the night).

KaraKeep often just is white.
