Describe the Bug

first i imported one cvs from pocket (~10300) in the admin page and it was importing properly. then i imported a json exported by hoarder (~10500, mostly duplicates). at that time i could see the import process was still running though no way to check if both imports were started

then i added some new bookmarks via the web interface and i could see them added already

later i shutted down the pc and went to bed. after i woke up i checked the process on the web ui but found there was only around 2k bookmarks with no pending jobs and stayed at that number when i checked again later.

the process was terminated very likely coz the last time it took around 3 hrs to import 10k bookmarks and now it's almost 12 hrs i started the import process. i have checked the syslog by "grep -i hoarder -A 3 /var/log/syslog" but couldnt find any unusual logs, and "grep -i meili /var/log/syslog" returned nothing too

Steps to Reproduce

  1. import a bookmark file on web ui
  2. import another
  3. add some new bookmarks on the webui
  4. check the process later

Expected Behaviour

expect the import process will add all bookmarks properly and simutaneously although i found it is suggested not to import bookmarks at the same time in one of the past issues a few moments ago

Screenshots or Additional Context

No response

Device Details

firefox windows

Exact Hoarder Version

v0.22.0

Have you checked the troubleshooting guide?

The import process happens client side, so most likely when you closed your laptop, the import stopped.

3hrs for 10k links is surprisingly slow though.

perhaps it's due to ai tag enabled?

@xxjoe2 no AI tagging is an asynchronous process.

Closing this for now given the misconception that it's a server process.
