Describe the feature you'd like

If I add an item to a list it would be good if this had the option to not appear on the main page, either that or have the ability to add lists within the archive section since these do already remove themselves from the homepage.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

Better customizability in general and more control over what is shown on your main homepage.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

I am not sure and this is the reason behind my asking, I hope so.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

No response

"Archived" does not mean that they no longer show up anywhere, they only don't show up on the main page anymore.
So simply archive whatever you want to hide from the main page (it is also regularly referred to as something like an inbox) and put it into any list. There isn't really a need for lists in the archive?

Yes I was aware Archiving does not remove them from everywhere and only the main page, I did not know however you could archive something and then add it to it a list so it does not appear on the main page, this works the way I need so thanks for this.

"There isn't really a need for lists in the archive?" - It would simply save a few clicks if you could both remove something from the homepage and add it to a list without needing to archive it first.

The Archive button in the Manage List modal is meant for exactly this usecase. Add to list then archive.
