Describe the feature you'd like

I would like to be able to highlight PDF's in the same manner as the new highlighter feature. The highlight text should be saved.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

Same as the current highlight feature, but for PDFs.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

I do not believe so.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

I am very interested in this feature. If anyone has an idea on what would be best way to implement this, I might try to implement it myself and make a PR. Otherwise, I am pledging $30 US for anyone that gets this working for me :)
