Describe the feature you'd like

When a bookmark has been added, it would be really convenient if there was a plus button where the tags would be to quickly add/modify the tags.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

Easier addition of tags that doesnt really require two button presses to start modifying.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Not really

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

This is just a slight UX change!

Bumping this.

Adding custom tags while adding links would be really helpful.

I'm unsure how you mean this, because you should be able to do this already? I don't interface much with the AI features so I don't know how that affects the flow, but regardless, you should def be able to start typing out your custom tag, and an option will pop up saying "Create '[tagname]'", which would be your custom tag.

I'm not sure, I am understanding you correctly. I know I can add custom tags after I created a new Item. This is just really inefficient for my liking.

It would be awesome if I could just insert my Link in the "New Item" text field, add a space character and start typing my custom tags and press CMD+ENTER when I finish

E.g. https://github.com/hoarder-app/hoarder/ #github #projectreference #foo #bar

The tags #github, #projectreference, #foo and #bar should then be added to the item as well as the AI tags
