Describe the feature you'd like

I'd like to be able to both archive and favorite a bookmark with a single click (or tap) directly from the bookmark list.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

It might sound trivial, but is really quite handy. I have multiple use-cases where I read/finish reading/finish taking notes for articles outside of Karakeep, then return back to it to mark all the bookmarks I'm done with as archived. (This in fact is what I'm doing with most bookmarks, especially when current limitations of Android clients necessitate the use of other tools anyway.)

If there were fave and archive buttons directly on the cards which I could click easily, I could move through the list more quickly.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Well, it can be achieved via multiple clicks or taps. That gets really slow when I'm doing it for a dozen or two articles, though.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request
