Describe the Bug

on version 0.29.1 Edit List > List Type is greyed out. Can no longer toggle between Manual List and Smart List.

  1. Select a existing List
  2. Click the menu
  3. Select Edit
  4. Attempt to modify List Type

Expected Behaviour

In previous the List Type selection was not greyed out

No response

Exact Karakeep Version

@MohamedBassem commented on GitHub (Dec 18, 2025):

This is by design. We don't allow changing the list type after its creation. I don't think this was ever allowed?
