Describe the feature you'd like

In the current implementation, Clicking on the links on a shared list opens the link in a new tab. This is not ideal!

It'll be nice to offer Reader, Screenshot, Archive, Original link options on each link and the default behavior when a user clicks on a list should be configurable for each shared list.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

I can share a list with someone and the can read it in reader mode or some other mode rather than going to the site which may be broken.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

No.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

No response

I think you can do that by clicking on the expand button instead of clicking on the title?

@MohamedBassem There is no expand button in bookmarks on a shared list page.

Sorry, I might have misunderstood. Is this "shared lists" (aka collaborative lists) or public lists?

@MohamedBassem Sorry, it's a public list.

I see. Yeah, currently bookmark details are not accessible in public lists. Will need to make this configurable to be able to start showing more stuff in the public lists.

+1 would love this

Would be great to have notes visible in public list as well

Edit: FYI Linkwarden supports this. But too bad Linkwarden only support URL as input unlike Karakeep
