Describe the feature you'd like

It would be great to have a scrollbar in the Android app. At a minimum it would show where in the article you are reading. Ideally it would resize in proportion to the length of the article. i.e for longer articles it would be smaller to show you are currently reading a smaller proportion of the text .

I drew a bright green example on this screenshot from the current app.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

The current app does not show any indication of how much of an article you have read. This would make it much clearer.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Not that I could see.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request
