Describe the feature you'd like

The ability to set a custom prompt for tagging and summaries is helpful.

I organise different types of information into different lists. It would be very powerful to be able to create custom prompts that were applied to a specific list or lists.

For example, I have created a list to bookmark examples of successful renewable energy projects. I would like to be able to direct the LLM to try and extract the type of technology, location of the project and date published, and add those as tags and into the summary.

But this prompt will not make sense for many other items I save.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

This would make ai tagging and summarization into a more powerful tool, letting users define multiple prompts that could be selectively applied based on the existing taxonomy of lists.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Not really - you can write prompts that seek specific information but they apply to all items added.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request
