Describe the feature you'd like

Feature Request: Improve iOS Share Sheet Behavior

Description
Currently, when sharing content to Karakeep via the iOS share sheet, the app itself is opened every time. This interrupts the workflow, since the user is taken out of the app they are currently using.

Proposed Behavior
Instead of opening the Karakeep app, it would be more seamless if the share action presented only a modal. After the content is saved, the modal should dismiss, and the user should stay in the original app without having to manually switch back.

Use Case
When sharing text, links, or other content from another app to Karakeep, users would remain in their current app, similar to how other note-taking or bookmarking apps handle this flow.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

Benefits

  • Smoother user experience on iOS
  • Faster sharing workflow
  • No unnecessary app switching

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

No
