Describe the feature you'd like

Currently to edit, favorite or archive an item you need to go to the burger menu and go through the list until you select it.

Why not make it easier by using the most used functions and add them as an icon next to the burger menu.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

This would speed up the workflow a lot.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

No.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

No response

I would also add adding tags to one of those icons. Or maybe user could select which actions one wants to have accessible in that way?

We probably can support hover actions (i.e. when you hover on the bookmark, you get to see some of the like like and archive)
