Continuing from this closed issue: https://github.com/karakeep-app/karakeep/issues/300

It still seems to be impossible to interact with the markdown List by mouse, toggling/checking a checkbox. To check lists you've made.

Can this be implemented at some point?

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

Currently you'd have to open the list in the 'editor' and manually add an 'x' to the checkbox. (Which seems basically impossible on mobile, at that)
Way easier than using the editor, a way better user experience. And also tackles the mobile limitation/issue to some degree in one go, wgrt the checkbox toggling that is.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Other than being on desktop, manually looking for the current line containing the markdown checkbox and filling it with an x or removing the x, replacing it with a space.. No. Especially not on mobile at all, so for mobile use it is not possible via other means at all.
