Describe the feature you'd like

Can content extracted from 'Reader View' be processed using a Large Language Model (LLM)?

My idea is to use an LLM to perform multi-language translation or efficient summarization of the content in 'Reader View'.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

By doing so, when subsequently retrieving information using the corresponding language, it will be possible to more accurately search for the relevant content needed.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Yes. Perhaps it is similar to the logic of adding tags

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Thank you very much for your prompt reply and for pointing me to #441.
I've reviewed #441, and I understand its primary focus is on enhancing search capabilities through self-hosted semantic search. This certainly overlaps with my goal of "searching content using different languages."
However, I'd like to take this opportunity to clarify that my request (#1767) has another equally important core purpose beyond search:"on-the-fly translation for easier reading."
My specific use cases are:

Immediate Reading: When I open an article in a foreign language in 'Reader View', I hope to be able to use an LLM to translate the full text into my native language instantly, so I can read and understand it without barriers. The focus here is on content consumption, not just archiving and indexing.
Multi-language Search: This would be a natural byproduct of the translation. Once an article is translated, its translated text would naturally become searchable.

So, I'd like to ask if the plan for #441 also includes this feature of providing real-time translation and display within the reading interface ? Incorporating this feature, which directly addresses the reading experience, would be a huge help for multilingual users like myself.
