Describe the feature you'd like

Every time I refresh the page the layout resets to "masonry" and every time I have to switch back to "list".

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

Less user frustration at having to repeatedly put things the way they like.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Yes, the user can do this themselves after each page reload.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

It shouldn't be that way, and the layout is supposed to be sticky. What version are you using? And any errors in the browser console when you change the layout?

This was with 0.25.

But weirdly, now that I wanted to check for errors it fails to reproduce.
