Describe the feature you'd like

Hi! 👋 I'm not sure if this is a request or if it exists but I couldn't find anything: Is there a way to share to Karakeep from Safari in MacOS? I don't use Firefox or Chrome for the most part. Is there a shortcut or something that someone has made? If not, is there a bookmarklet or something?

TYSM for such a great app/package. 🙃

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

A lot of MacOS users use Safari. This would help a lot.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

I don't know. A shortcut maybe?

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

There's a testflight link in this issue for a safari extension along with a community extension.

@MohamedBassem

I think he means a MacOS Share-Sheet for using from any other MacOS App. The MacOS Safari extension works pretty well in MacOS Safari, but it hasn't a MacOS Share-Sheet. Actually, I open the page in Safari and use the MacOS Safari extension.

If try the iOS app Share-Sheet App, I get the following error.

It's okay and it's not designed for this case I think.

Best would IMHO:
If the MacOS Safari extension has an additional MacOS Share-Sheet for using in all Apps like Reeder Classic for example.

Sorry it's a little bit confusing withe the same names on iOS/MacOS for Apps/functions. I hope you got my point.

Best, Michael
