This has been an issue with all versions to 1.4.0.

Tahoe 26.2.

Open itsytv - dock fine while running.
Quit itsytv - dock inoperative, until opening any other app's menu (I use Mail).

Also tested with Tahoe 26.3.

Thanks for reporting this – confirmed and fixed in v1.4.1.

You can update via brew upgrade itsytv or download directly from releases.
