Hey, great app, just purchased for the camera views!
If it's possible, catching Doorbell events and showing a notification / PiP-type UI with the doorbell feed, would be super helpful!
@nickustinov commented on GitHub (Feb 4, 2026):
@danperks This is a great idea! I've implemented it in version 1.3.0 – could you give it a try and report. It's available here – make sure you are installing 1.3.0, not earlier version https://testflight.apple.com/join/hRZFfp6e
@danperks commented on GitHub (Feb 5, 2026):
Amazing, will check it out the next time someone rings my doorbell!
I do have a further ask though: if possible, can we either detect or be able to mark battery powered cameras and have them not auto-update with a preview for the menu bar? Acutely concerned it's going to drain my doorbell's battery like crazy.
@nickustinov commented on GitHub (Feb 5, 2026):
@danperks That makes sense. I will look into it, and will either try to automate it or add a manual option to exclude cameras from snapshot refresh.
@nickustinov commented on GitHub (Feb 11, 2026):
@danperks I've fixed camera battery drain in 2.0.0 – but currently 1.3.1 is still waiting in Apple's queue for review. So expect 2.0.0 in 1-2 weeks.

Amazing! I'm on testflight, so will check for an update shortly!
