Is there an existing issue for this?

Current behavior

When i try to run the desktop application using the provided Appimage from https://hoppscotch.com/download on Pop OS! i can not seem to run it.
When trying to run using the terminal i receive the following error:
hoppscotch: symbol lookup error: /tmp/.mount_HoppscMxYkkY/usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: hb_ot_layout_get_horizontal_baseline_tag_for_script

I have also attempted to remedy the issue by installing the referenced library libpango-1.0.so.0 but the issue seems to still persist.
In my second attempt i tried installing using the .deb provided by the website and was successful in running and installing the application but there seems to be a huge performance issue and suffering from what i can best describe as lag and low responsiveness when compared to the web app that can be tested at https://hoppscotch.io/.

I have also asked others to test the Appimage on two other distros Arch and Manjaro and they reported to have not suffered any issues. though i have not had the opportunity to test the .deb on another debian based distro.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download file AppImage (Hoppscotch_linux_x64.AppImage)
  2. add permissions for execution
  3. open in using the terminal to view the error logs.
  4. Download file .deb installer
  5. install using eddy(pop os!)
  6. open the application
  7. test performance with a collection of your choosing
  8. open in the web app from the following link
  9. compare the performance

The performance issues may be related to #3762

Have the same issue on Ubuntu as well with the AppImage Package. It simply does not run

hoppscotch: symbol lookup error: /tmp/.mount_HoppscCPZRgc/usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: hb_ot_layout_get_horizontal_baseline_tag_for_script
