Is there an environment (or can there be) to hide the sign-up option when you go to the default URL?

Similar to hide the "docs" link on the top of the pre-login page?

Sorry for the radio silence. Yes that worked perfectly and I fear I missed it in the mass of configuration options and even the search terms I used for find as a safety measure were, obviously, the wrong ones!
