every time i double click on the latest gopher64-windows-x86_64.exe nothing happens. no window, no error, no sounds, no signs of life aside from the task manager where the program appears for a second before disappearing. i seen no one else with this issue and i would like to address it. i have no idea if it is related to hardware because again no window, no error, no nothing

specs
windows 10 pro 22H2 64-bit
8gb ram
intel i5-3470 3.20 ghz
AMD Radeon r7 200 series gpu 2gb

attempted troublesoots that turned up unsuccessful
restarted pc
ran as admin
ran under windows 8 compatability
ran with & without wifi
ran in own folder
created rule in windows firewall to allow the program
dragged rom into exe

Unfortunately your CPU is too old, because it does not support AVX2 instructions
