Why is it that after I finish writing code using Claude Code, git-ai status correctly shows 100% AI-written, but after committing the code in PyCharm, git-ai stats shows the project’s AI-written percentage as 0?

Sorry to hear you're running into this issue! This is almost certainly caused by Pycharm using system git instead of through the Git AI installation.

Can you take a screenshot of the PyCharm git configuration (there should be a Git Path option) and then see if restarting PyCharm changes that at all? On linux/macos, I think Jetbrains IDEs pick it up from the system, but I think it might be different on Windows. If it still doesn't pick it up, we'll create an issue for that! Thanks for the help troubleshooting!

I’ve fixed it. After configuring git-ai’s git.exe and committing the code in PyCharm, the AI-written code is recorded successfully. Thanks!

Awesome! So, just to be sure, you had to manually change it? Restarting didn't automatically fix it?

If it didn't automatically update, we will need to open an issue to re: our installation to make sure to update the Git Path for jetbrains IDEs (at least on Windows)
