There are many folks out there who have to use Owncloud. It would be super nice if you could add Owncloud support in Floccus (given that Bookmarks app is also available). Thank you!
@marcelklehr commented on GitHub (Jul 30, 2020):
To clarify: Owncloud is supported, but only via WebDAV.
Strictly speaking it's not an issue of floccus being compatible with owncloud bookmarks, but rather, owncloud bookmarks implementing the API advances that I implemented in nextcloud bookmarks. Please forgive me that I don't have time to maintain owncloud bookmarks as well, nor am I willing to make nextcloud bookmarks compatible with owncloud.
Having said that, owncloud bookmarks may work together with the legacy sync method -- you can try that on your own risk.
@marcelklehr commented on GitHub (Jul 30, 2020):
tl;dr: the goal would be to attain feature parity with nextcloud bookmarks for oc bookmarks. I'm not available for that, but it's all open source -- be the change you want to see in the world ❤️
