Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/floccusaddon/floccus/issues/266
It is now possible to translate the project over at https://www.transifex.com/floccus/floccus/
If you'd like to help, sign up for transifex and request to be added as a contributor to the floccus team and choose a language (make sure your profile is public so I can add you).
If something doesn't work drop me a mail or comment on this thread :)
Cheers
@TCB13 commented on GitHub (Apr 27, 2019):
I just requested the Portuguese language. I'm a native speaker, I can translate it as soon as it is approved.
@marcelklehr commented on GitHub (Apr 27, 2019):
@TCB13 Awesome! 🎉 You will need to set your profile as public for me to be able to add you ;)
@TCB13 commented on GitHub (Apr 27, 2019):
@marcelklehr I just requested to be added.
@TCB13 commented on GitHub (Apr 27, 2019):
@marcelklehr the Portuguese translation is done! Enjoy.
@PICAPICAP commented on GitHub (Oct 23, 2019):
zh_CN and zh_TW are ready to use.
@rafaelreis-r commented on GitHub (Oct 8, 2020):
I have a question. Not native english speaker but these lines seem pretty ambiguous:
"Always overwrite and revert local changes" --> Does this means local overwrites remote? Or remote overwrites local?
"Always overwrite and revert remote changes" --> Same question.
@marcelklehr commented on GitHub (Oct 9, 2020):
@rafaelreis-r ah, yes, I'm not quite happy with those strings either. "Always overwrite and revert local changes" means take the server changes and apply them locally, overriding any changes that were made locally. I'm happy to change these. Any suggestions?
@ddt3 commented on GitHub (Oct 22, 2020):
Just requested to have a go at the Dutch translations
@anastasisbak commented on GitHub (Mar 27, 2022):
Just requested to add the Greek language to be available for translation
@marcelklehr commented on GitHub (May 2, 2022):
I just realized that source messages on transifex have not been updated since november. Sorry for that. Latest message contents should be available for translation again now.
@kotjarka commented on GitHub (May 17, 2022):

@marcelklehr commented on GitHub (May 17, 2022):
@kotjarka Thank you for your contribution :)
@pinpontitit commented on GitHub (May 17, 2022):
Yeah ! I was so sad to see Polish at 0%.
I have two questions about translations:
Is it possible to insert a "return to the line" character in the translation in Transifex, and will it be respected by the app ?
Or is there another way to fix that ?
EDIT: I'm speaking about two buttons in the Android Floccus settings:
"Download an anonymised version of debugging logs"
and
"Trigger sync from scratch" (the button that earases cache, etc.
They are too long, at least in French, and cannot be read entirely in a regular smartphone screen.
For example there's:
Portuguese (Portugal)
Portuguese (Brasil)
which is all right because some words or sentences could be written differently.
But for the french there's:
French (France)
French
I understand that there's differents kind of french, for example candian, belgium, etc.
But which French should be used in the general French ?
Because French is 100% and French(France) is 0%
Should we delete one of the french ?
And same thing for Italian:
There's:
Italian (Italy) at 54.3%
and
Italian at 44.7%
Thanks
@pinpontitit commented on GitHub (May 18, 2022):
I did read here that it's not recommended to wrap the text in a button so instead I solved this by modifying the french translation with a shorter translation, so all good.
