I am listing in a dropdown a list of countries with a flag next to each label.

It's loading the images correctly but sometimes it takes quite some time to load all images. Would it be possible to preload or even convert these images into a font?

I've tried icomoon but some icons had issues, is there any alternative?

Fonts have no colors.. and flags without colors would be a bit strange :) You could use Emoji though :) 🇩🇪 🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇬🇷

Either case.. how to use the icons and if it's better to transform them to another format/size is outside of the scope for this project!
