Feature Description

It would be great to have a new field type in Documenso for adding stamps or seals to documents.

Currently, signers can upload signature image, but there’s no built-in way to upload and place an image of stamp (e.g., a company stamp) as part of the signing process.

Use Case

Functionality:

  • Allows the signer or sender to upload a small image (PNG, JPG, or transparent PNG) to represent a stamp.

  • The image is placed on the document like other fields (drag-and-drop placement).

  • The uploaded stamp image is stored securely and embedded in the final signed PDF.

  • Allow pre-configured “saved stamps” for repeat use.

Why This Is Useful

  • Many organizations, especially in legal and administrative workflows, use stamps or seals alongside signatures.

  • Supports international business requirements where company or department stamps are mandatory on signed documents.

  • Improves Documenso’s parity with enterprise e-signature platforms like Adobe Sign or Docusign, which support image-based seals.

Proposed Solution

Add a new field type: Stamp
