Feature Description

Image

Possibility to add the Signature ID below the signature area, and an option to insert a QR code instead of the signature image or name.

Use Case

Use Case:
When someone signs the document, their signature/document ID will be visible below the signature, as well as on each page of the document.

Feature:
When someone signs, they can also generate a QR code in the signature column (replacing the name or signature). This is useful because, when the document is printed, users can scan the QR code to verify whether the printed document is legitimate and matches the original by opening the web view of the document. If the document is not set to public, scanning the QR code will only open the signing certificate file page.

That is basically what the "Certificate detail page" does already.

@JohannesNekes commented on GitHub (Feb 4, 2026):

@raerhe I’d really appreciate this feature as well. It would enable the QR code to be embedded directly into the signed document, which would be particularly useful for certificates (e.g. membership confirmation documents for our organisation) that are still often printed (and sometimes have to be).
Currently, the 'Certificate detail page' lives on a separate page and, as far as I know, doesn't allow any customisation.
Are there any plans to implement this feature in future?
