Feature Description

I would like so anyone can have a upload a doc and verify it was signed for example docuseal has this feature

good idea to make this have toggle to turn the page off/on

It would also be nice to download the audit log

Examples

verify example

Audit Log.pdf

Use Case

freelancers and disputes

photographer uploads the contract they had client sign to prove the e-sign process took place through the platform—helps with payment disputes.

This could be used for certificates for training, transcripts:

Graduates or employers upload a transcript/certificate PDF to confirm it’s the registrar-signed artifact, deterring forgeries. For example and hopeful on day big a company like necanet (National Electrical Contractors Association) provides cert that someone is qualified to be an electrician. and that could be verified be uploading the cert to their website.

for HR:

Workers can confirm a PDF they downloaded weeks ago is still the signed original—handy when disputes arise about handbook versions.

Proposed Solution

I probably can help in ui design but know very little about code 😢

Alternatives (optional)

currently I upload the doc to stirling pdf to get very limited details

Additional Context

For legal reasons (i am not a lawyer this NOT legal advice)

After everything is signed I print the signed doc and stamp it with a date. So that why I can provide proof it hasn't been tampered with. It would be nice to attach the audit log with the verified screenshot. This would make legal disputes much hard. For someone to scam. I personally haven't had this issue but have heard of many clients doing this to freelancers.

You can currently download the audit log separately. Will look into the verify signature.

It looks like the latest version is supposed to have something like this. But in my current testing I have not been able to get it to work.

This does work for the most part. Just no way to upload the PDF to verify. You must have the PDF with the Signed Certificate detail page. If you are having issues check #1634
