Issue Description

Since 1.8.0, if we use Greek text for typing a signature, the result pdf has weird boxes like this instead of the signature text:

Steps to Reproduce

Enable typed signatures and use Greek characters in a typed signature field.

Expected Behavior

It should render unicode characters as expected.

Current Behavior

It does not render unicode characters as expected.
