Feature Description

Add phone number support when sending documents for signing to enable notifications via phone call/text message about pending signatures, in addition to email notifications.

Use Case

Real estate agency sends purchase agreement to client for signature and provides client's phone number to enable both email and phone notifications requesting signature.

Insurance company sends policy documents to customer and adds ability to notify via phone call/text when signature is required. This allows urgent notifications even if the customer does not regularly check email.

Proposed Solution

To summarize - the phone number provided when sending documents for signatures will be used to notify the recipients to sign, but not to verify their identity or perform any extra identity checks. It is an additional notification channel alongside email notifications.

Thanks for the suggestion, we're going to put this on hold for now until we are ready to configure the application to support SMS related features.

The reason being is that SMS is relatively expensive in certain countries, so we need to research the best way to integrate this into our system for customers.
