https://github.com/kindsoft/kindeditor reports "This repository has been archived by the owner on Jan 9, 2024. It is now read-only."

It is used to compose emails using WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)
https://github.com/cypht-org/cypht/tree/master/modules/smtp/assets/kindeditor

In terms of HTML-WYSIWYG, Squire is used by some other webmails:
https://github.com/fastmail/Squire

Cypht also supports Markdown. So it would be nice to have a WYSIWYG-Markdown editor like https://github.com/Milkdown/milkdown or https://github.com/nhn/tui.editor
