Personally I disagree, read receipt support was IMO never a good idea. If this gets added I implore you to require the recipient to opt-in each time a read receipt is delivered to a message sender. Requesting one on Send is OK I guess, but again not a fan of the whole idea.

"require the recipient to opt-in each time a read receipt is delivered to a message sender": Maybe there could be an option to always opt in for specific senders. So I may be OK that specific people have this information all the time.

@resu-cireneg Please elaborate on your needs so we can find the right options/preferences so each user can set it up the way they want it.
